I was making strawberry jam but had to stop the boil half way through to pop out. When I got home I just finished boiling it anyway it doesn't seem to have set. Can I open the jars and re boil with more jam set stuff!

You can reopen & re boil - at least once, I don't know about more times though sorry.

I have re-boil strawberry jam twice now, because it didn't set, the last time added some rhubarb, now set really well

Reboil as much as you like, but it does cook more each time youboil it. I doubt you'll poison any one by redoing it.
