making shortbread and accidently added the icing sugar in with the flour and cornflour. If I beat the butter and add it to the dry ingredients would it still work.

It want really matter too much, do you rub ingredients together. Last lot I made I put all into food whizz and mixed like that and it was fine. I do pop it in fridge to firm up a little though.
