I am looking at ice cream recipes and see 'heavy cream' and 'half and half cream' and 'thickened cream' all mentioned in various recipes. What are these , can you get them in NZ or their equivalent. If not do you have a great ice cream recipe for using in a maker! Thanks

Thickened cream you can get here - try creme fraiche.
However, all you need for icecream really, is normal cream.
