Thank you for your kind suggestion lilyfield. I thought it might be a nice night before Christmas treat. I think some of the countdown's had the pre-packaged stuff last year. Was just hoping someone might know if it was available this year.

It is such a treat and very easy to make! You don't need to wait for cold weather at all.

I have never heard of pre-packaged fondue, but you don't need fancy cheese or fancy cooking skills to make it from scratch. Here is a non-alcoholic recipe that is suitable for all the family:

I make it with gruyere, edam, and tasty, or whatever cheese is to hand.

Bread can be a bit too filling if that's all you have to dip in the fondue. Try lightly steamed broccoli and cauliflower florets, batons of raw carrot, and strips of capsicum as well as bread cubes. Yum!
