Looking for two easy desserts for a potluck road party we are having. My cooking skills aren't the best but am willing to try most things . Most important thing is that the are tasty and not warm as i will have no heating facilities

What about a platter with pieces of a slice or shortbread, strawberries, pineapple, grapes, small choc fish, pieces of fudge, marshmallows, its endless really. Always looks really nice. Ambrosia - whipped cream with yoghurt, add marshmallows, fruit, chocolate etc. Profiteroles - can be a bit fiddly Trifle, pavlova, fruit flan.

Buy a packet of lamingtons split them in half and put whipped cream and half a strawberry on top!

buy little pastry cases, spoon in lemon curd, cover with meringue and bake.Cheat's lemon meringue pie, miniatures:)

you can also use the mini pastry cases, fill with caramel condensed milk, add sliced banana and whipped cream- easy mini banoffi pies :)

I saw an easy one years ago. ready made flaky pastry, cut into sqares and bake each piece-if you burn one it doesn't matter. then sandwich with your favourite filling. then cover with whipped cream
