Hi - I have honey and soya sauce and want to cook beef strips in them tonight.What ratio do I use and do you melt the honey first in a pan!Any help would be much appreciated.

It's not usually necessary to melt the honey first; when you add soy sauce and stir, the honey will loosen up by itself. I always add ginger, sesame oil, some brown sugar, vinegar and star anise to the mix - will pop back and edit if I think there's anything I've missed ;)

I always add crushed garlic, ginger, sesame oil, some brown sugar, vinegar and star anise to the mix - will pop back and edit if I think there's anything I've missed ;) oh.ratio of honey to soy! mmmm I'd say 1-2 tablespoon soy and 2 tablespoons honey (or thereabouts >>>> I usually go by taste).
