Wellington Food Show - May 2012

I went to this, and a man was selling a type of food processor thing, and also demonstrated this **thing** that made curly chips.
I bought one, it is a white plastic thing, with spirals on it.
Have just (at last) found it, and for the life of me, have no idea what/how it works.
If anyone has any idea, please tell me.
I think you somehow put it in the spud, then worked it like a corkscrew, but am lost as to what then.

clutter

You just poke it in the end of the potato and twirl it round - it does work. I got one at the Wellington Foodshow 2 years ago with a mandolin I bought there. The mandolin has never been used and the curly fry cutter used once. Clutter is right!

right, i love clutter, in saying that, i will give it a try.
After you have twirled it around, do you reverse the twirl to get it out of the spud.!thanks. yep that's what was demostrated-the mandolin
