Help Shortbread problem !

I was halving a shortbread recipe got distracted with phone calls and put in the full amount of flour. All I have is one crumbly pile of shortbread which will not hold together.
Any tips if I can make it into something else,hate to waste it!

Add the other halves of the butter and sugar- I suggest that you cream the butter and sugar until very pale and fuffy, then add your crumbly mixture and work in gently until it is just combined.Don't overwork.

Or freeze as crumble topping for later use

Yum mix with ice cream.or make something that you can roll crumbs onto

Add a couple of tablespoons water (one at a time) and a little lemon zest to make a pastry!

Or as lilyfield suggested, mix in some rolled oats and claim it was supposed to be a crumble topping all along.
