Im new to all this.

I have just made a lasagne and using the same recipe but with GF pasta. I went to make the white sauce but with cornflour, rather than normal flour. However, it did NOT thicken, so I just grated cheese over the pasta. Does anybody know what ingredient (GF of course) that I can use to thicken the sauce!
TIA

Cornflour (make sure its maize not wheaten) should do the trick fine.Maybe you could use less liquid.

Crafty, in the general thread you said that normally you do it in the microwave.I hope this doesn't sound too cheeky, but if you want I can come demonstrate how to make it on the stove top! Please don't be offended!

Tried it once with lots of milk and again with a little bit.apprently the milk should be hot before adding the cornflour
