I had a recipe where it was covered in water and simmered first with chinese style herbs then roasted but cant seem to find it! does anyone have a similar recipe please other than just roasting it.

I did pork belly at the weekend & just marinated it in chinese five spices & soya sauce & sweet thai chilly sauce for 24 hours then slow roasted wrapped in foil - was yum
