Iwon alarge venison forequarter roast at the local Surf Club - anyone have any great suggestions for how to roast it,My Mum was good at it- I remember her sayingbecause it is so lean you have to be careful how you cook itotherwise it gets very dry,

just cook as you would a forequarter of lamb, but i do mine at 150 for approx 2hrs in a covered roasting dish. I also wrap bacon around the meat, and sprinkle with lemon pepper.
