jhan, do you mean Apple Dumplings!e.g.

"Apple Dumplings in Butterscotch Sauce
2 apples
1 cup self raising flour
1 teasp sugar
3 teasp butter
1 teasp finely grated lemon rind
1 egg yolk
1 cup brown sugar lightly packed
1 tablesp butter
1 tablesp golden syrup

Peel & core apples and cut into quarters lengthways. Grease inside of cooker with butter.
Mix flour, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and rub into the flour mixture with your fingertips until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Mix in the lemon rind. Whisk egg yolk and mix in with about ¼ cup of cold water or just enough to make a soft dough.
Divide dough into 8 pieces and flatten each of them out a little.
Take each piece of apple and mould a piece of dough around it.
place the 'dumplings' into the slow cooker.
Put the brown sugar, butter, golden syrup and 1½ cups of water in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Pour over dumplings.
Cook for 1 - 1½ hours on high.
Serve with ice cream, cream or yoghurt
