Roast question RE: Yorkshire Puddings

I am doing a roast lamb and thought I'd do some yorkshire puddings (although i know it is traditionally with Beef) The Yorkshire recipe says to cook at 200 degrees for 25 minutes - what do I do with all the roast veges while the oven is on 200 degrees! Will they not burn!

Take them out the oven first. I do Yorkshire puds at 230 degrees - the fat needs to be smoking!

Fat needs to be smoking when you put the Yorkshires into the pan - but your veggies will be fine - just cover them with foil or take them out and cover them with foil so that they stay warm.I cook my roast veggies at high temperature anyway so they are nice and crisp.
