When cooking chicken parcels (chicken wrapped in pastry) how thoroughly should you cook the chicken before you put it in the pastry in the oven. as it would continue to cook and i don't want it to dry out.

If you are wrapping the chicken in Filo pastry then make sure you cook the chicken first - and not just brown the chicken.Filo (or Phyllo) pastry doesn't take very long to cook.
