Hawaiian pork,

anyone have a simple recipe please!
An old girlfriend & her mother used to make one.
She would put the pork chops or steaks in a casserole dish with pineapple pieces, the juice & sliced kumara. I think there was also brown sugar in there somewhere too.
If you have a recipe or can point me in the right direction I'd be greatfull. Thanks.

This maybe!
500 gms pork pieces
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 large kumara diced
1 tsp brown sugar
1/2 c water
1 large onion sliced
1 tsp mustard
1/4 c vinegar
1 440 gm tin pineapple pieces
Mix cornflour with water. Pour into caserole dish. All all other ingredients. Mix well. Cover and cook at 170 C for 1-1 1/2 hrs or microwave on high for 15 minx. Then med/high for 20-25 mins. Leave to stand for 10 mins. Serve on a bed of rice.

Yummm, sounds really tasty! Don't know if it's the one poster no.1 wants, but I shall be trying it. Thank-you. :)

Have you tried the Maggi Honey Pork sachet. I think its in their slow cooker range, I just cook it as a normal casserole.
