Question re piza dough

Made up a piza recipe with yeast and it is far too much dough for the size piza I want to make - can I freeze it in a ball or do I need to roll it out and freeze !

Shape it into a base or bases and par cook it/them then freeze.

A ball will be easier to store and won't make any difference to the finished product when you make it.
