Can some kind person help me please.Just bought one of these ovens from Countdown last night.I want to do a roast chicken and roast vegies.do you put oil in the bowl I can't quite fathom what to do.Many thanksin advance.

No oil in the bowl.I usually rub the chicken with oil and herbs, sometimes put a cut lemon inside and put it straight onto the rack (bottom one) and cook on 175 for time needed, depending on size/weight. Iput veges in after chicken is cooked and resting or you could put veges on rack with chicken about 25/30 mins before end of cooking time.
Good luck with your CD one as I havehad 2 and they both packed up within a month or so of buying, they replaced the first one and offered to replace the second or refund, I got my money back and bought another brand which has been good so far.
