Hi all,Quick question.what do I use,How can I make the glass lid on my crock pot easy to look through,to view my food cooking, before it fogs up,condensation hits and makes it clear no longer.
I found out from a shop keeper that they put dishwash liquid on the drink fridge doors to stop them fogging up.,but im not keen to use that on my crock pot,any ideas!

According to google you turn the lid round and round with it still on, the condensation then drops off and you can see the food, and youdon't have to lift the lid off. This might work on the old crockpot lids which are round, can't see it working on new oval slow cookers without lifting the lid and cutting cooking times back.

try putting a tea towel folded in half on top. Disclaimer: I *think* this works, can't quite remember, and I hold no blame for any potential fire hazards.
