Basic Biscuit help

My daughter has to do a challenge, they have to make the basic biscuit recipe then add any flavouring and decoration they want. This is a school cooking comp. Ideas please

Condensed milk biscuits.

Can then add Choc chips
make jam drops
Lemon/orange flavours
coconut
plain, then dip half the biscuit in melted chocolate.
flavour with mixed spice and sandwich with jam

125g butter
50g sugar
2 level tablespoons condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups Champion standard flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cream together the butter and sugar and then add the condensed milk and vanilla essence.

Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt and stir it through.

Spread some baking paper out on a baking tray. Roll the mixture in your palms into whatever sized balls you want. Flatten your balls ( with a floured fork.

Bake at 180 for fifteen / twenty minutes.

my basic biscuit recipe is
125g butter or marg
125g sugar
1egg
250g flour (plain or self raising)
1tsp baking powder (only needed for plain flour)

Cream butter and sugar together add essence if using, then egg. Beat well. Add flour and any other dry ingredients to mix. If mix seems a little dry add a few drops of water or milk until right consistency.
variations: use any of these essences or juice and rind:
vanilla essence, orange essence or juice and rind, lemon essence or juice and rind, peppermint.
Dry ingredients can be cocoa powder, choc chips or buttons or m & m's,
peanuts, sultana's, cranberries dried, coconut, weetbix or cornflakes. rolled oats,
Could make choc chip or jaffa, peanut brownies, afghans, anzac type, experiment and use imagination.
can be rolled out and cut into rounds and have a filling (icing between) and an icing on top. rolled into balls.
