French Themed Dinner - Bastille Day

I have to do french themed dinner for 50 people next month.Thinking Vichyssoise, French Onion soup, beef in red wine, chicken (not sure what that will be) creme brulee and maybe a lemon tart. How does that look!Anything better I can do!What to do with the chicken, I wonder!

I would do coq au vin instead of the beef in red wine and include a cassoulet and some braised red cabbage - very traditional
