Icing/cream on top of cheese cake shop cakes

does anyone know what is used to make this, trying to save a bit of money and make one for hubby's birthday.Is it flovoured cheam cheese! or something to that effect!

Could be "mock" cream perhaps!

its not sweet at all, with not really any taste as such, but quite a heavy consistancy

My sister just gave me a recipe for cheesecake.1 tub of philly, small tin condensed milk and 1/3 cup cream.Just mix together - I added lemon juice and zest but I am sure you can add anything. Used digestive bisc for base.Better the longer left in fridge but sets almost immediately so good for pud in a rush.

If you rang a cheesecake shop, they may tell you.
I suspect it has kremelta in it.

Could be washed cream.First found this in a AWW Cook Book for the filling of a Swiss Roll.
