*BUTTER CHICKEN - HELP*

Does anyone have a really good butter chicken recipe!I have searched the net, there are plenty of them out there.I have printed out a few recipes, and tried to create my own version - but it simply doesn't have the taste that I like. And I'm sick of paying restaurants/takeaways money for something that I could cook at home.

This mix is VERY mild so Ifu have children they will probably love it, myself and hubby found it very bland so the next time I added more chilli to give it flavour and it was better. Fenugreek is available if u have an indian spice shop where u live, didn't add not sure if it wouldn have made a difference but will try next time, I bought the 3pack because everyone here raved about it but then wish I hadn't.

My family all love it - I don't think butter chicken needs to be hot but I found this mix well spiced and flavoursome

This is what I make, not really like what you buy in the shop but my family likes it. If you don't like it too hot just ease back on the chilli.

Butter Chicken

2 tbsp oil
1 onion, finely diced
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
Boneless chicken
1 tsp each ground ginger, chilli, turmeric, cinnamon
1 can coconut cream
4 tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp honey
1 tsp garam masala

Heat oil in a large pan and then add the onion and garlic.
Cook until soft but not brown.
Cut chicken into cubes and add to onion and garlic.
Combine spices and sprinkle over chicken.
Toss the chicken in the spices until evenly coated.
Cook chicken, stirring frequently until golden.
Stir in coconut milk and tomato paste.
Cover and simmer about 8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Stir in honey and garam masala.
