Venison chops

has anyone a nice recipe in the slow cooker for venison chops please

if i remember i will look one out tomorrow for you, venison chops would be so delicious pan fried in butter 4 or 5 minutes each side

Just treat it like lean beef. Flavours that go well with Venison are rosemary, bay, junniper berries, red wine etc etc. If cooking long and slow then best if the chops are on the thin side so the backsteak fibres are short. Personally I would flash fry them as rainrain suggested then rest well unless they are Sambar or a big stag. But I see you are in Mot so probably red or Fallow, if Fallow definately flash fry.

yum, same here.I hate all the overkill of flavours people put on venison - flash fried on a super hot pan, in butter.beautifull (even stinky old stag )

the flavours are really nice with the lesser cuts of venison though like beaker says, especially in a crockpot or casserole.You sound like my husband he eats all that stinky stuff, but oh no I prefer the eye fillet .
