Hi We are having visitors over for dinner onThursday night and I have an idea of preparing a creamy chicken casserole and rice. I will only have about an hour to cook it unless I can do it in a crockpot. Does anyone have any tried and successful recipies that aren't going to take too long to prepare! Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Maybe do a search for Coronation chicken with it being Jubilee week.

Make a chicken instead of a beef stroganoff ! As long as you all like mushrooms ! Chicken works really well in this dish, it's fast, easy . Or you could do a mustard chicken style dish, better served with spuds though IMHO.Hope this helps, if not just google creamy chicken casserole your bound to get millions of ideas :)
