i think it would melt in,and have a wet look as the cheese mixture is wet.

It usually sits nicely.Don't put it on til the cheesecake is set or baked and chilled.

Would be rather bitter - I suggest you use drinking chocolate powder instead for decorating (also for rolling truffles in).

i put it on top of banoffee pie. and it works will if done just before serving. by morning, it is a bit "melted". but banoffee pie is great for breakfast!
