'pies' in a sandwich maker.

anyone else do this!I had some pastry in the fridge and the sandwich maker was left out.had mince from a cottage pie I made the night before.*light bulb moment*.Rolled the pastry out, added the filling, and whaaalaaa.YUMMY.

I know I'm not the first person in the world to do this.just thought I'd share with others lol.

I have one of those jaffle makers and use it to make pies, they come outthe same shape as the apple pies in McD's.I also cook my spring rolls in it too, as we don't like them deep fried.

Yes, i sheet of flakey pastry cut into two, wet edges and carefully fill and seal.Put into sandwich maker (the one with the two squares in it).DO NOT close the lid down and heat for 9 minutes.Lovely pies.

done it. don't over fill as made a bit of a mess. very nice though
