I've never used it, does anyone have any yummy ways of cooking this that a family of 5 would love? (incl a 4yo & twin 1yo's)
TIA

Been meaning to get some big marrow bones for ages. Try goggling roasting marrow bones.

If you can borrow from a library either of Jennifer McLagan's books "Fat" or "Bones", I think there are recipes in there.

sqiggles, perhaps you are are looking for recipes for the vegetable - those mutant zucchini that hide under the bush and grow into gargantuan marrow? ? If so, I have just bumped up a previous thread on the subject for you.

I've made a courgette & chocolate cake that tasted delicious - I'm sure you could use marrow instead of courgette try http://recipes. had.co.nz/252/zucchini-courgette-chocolate-ca

I do a stuffed marrow with mince and cheese and tomato on top.

and you could put some mashed potato on as well if you like.

grate it, squeeze out extra juice, add egg, flour baking powder, grated cheese, not too sloppy and drop spoonfuls into the deep fryer, dont leave for too long, when golden drain on paper towel and serve straight away. Can also add cooked cauli, brocolli anything really.
