I was browsing a That's Life magazine in a takeaway bar the other day and liked the look of a date slice recipe.It was in a recent issue and was for a date slice with coffee icing (it seemed like a plain cake type mix with dates scattered though - it was light and didn't look heavy and dark like my other date slices).I bake supper every couple of months for a large group and thought this looked easy and a bit different from what I usually give them.Does anyone have this handy! and if so, pretty please, would you mind posting it here for me! :) TIA
