Scalloped Potato, Crumbed Schnitzel (cooked)
Son was bring a few Billets home from boarding school tonight from school rugby so I prepared plenty of everything for dinner tonight as knowing how much 16 year old boys can pack away. Now they have called it off due to the bad weather here in Taranaki.
Would the sliced Potato I have prepared freeze ok, or should I add the cream etc and complete the scallop potato before I freeze it!
Alos I have crumbed a ton of schnitzel, (was frozen before I crumbed it) would I be ok if I fry it all now, and freeze it cooked!

You could do it either way, If the potato is cooked, but my preferencewould just be to seal and freeze as it is, adding the cream may cause the sauceto seperate and go watery when thawed.
The schnitzel will be fine to freeze once cooked.

I would make and cook the scalloped potato and then freeze. That way you can thaw and reheat when you need it.

The crumbed schnitzel I have found freezes better uncooked.
