Is brisket good for a pie?

I stewed some brisket for the family while before I was on night shift last night and they didn't eat it (too lazy to thicken it even after I'd drained the fat off!)Anyway, would this be nice for a savoury pie!Or should I just thicken, reheat and serve as a stew!

remove as much of fat as can and cut up in bits and add vegies and make a gravy and chuck into pie crust top and bottom and be all good.
