I have been given some uncooked, frozen scampi.
What do I do with it? ? Thanks :o)

Here is a lovely recipe from Tetsuya Wakuda from Nobu in Sydney

TETSUYA WAKUDA'S ROASTED NZ SCAMPI IN SOY GARLIC BUTTER
Serves 4
12 scampi
160 g unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, grated
1 tablespoon mirin
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees C.

Halve the scampi and arrange in a baking tray. Put in the oven for about two minutes to cook through. When done, transfer the scampi onto a plate.

To make the soy butter, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour over the scampi and serve immediately.

Thanks, that sounds really nice.
How do halve the scampi, they dont look at all easy to cut, especially long ways, which is what I assume they mean. And what is mirin?

How big are they? and yes, it would be length wise. Mirin is a popular Japanese cooking wine
