Sausage rolls already being done and he's a 12 year old boy so doesn't want fairy bread :-)

I'd keep away from the sweet stuff and go along the lines of bacon and egg pie. Or bread cases with a quichey filling. Smallish mince pies. How the food is stored and whether it can be heated would make a difference too.

Take anything.NZ is too Multi Cultural always has been.Nothing traditional about NZ Foods unless you go back to the Maori, send a boiled kumara perhaps.
