we tried lots of different potato varieties when we bought our deep fryer, agria were by far the best. best chips are when you fry for 10 mins at 160 degrees then leave them to sit for 10 mins or so then fry at 190 degrees for 3-5 mins. oh and leave them to soak in water before you cook them and dry thoroughly before frying. best chips ever!

Best chips are made with agria, Pre cook at 170 till just turning golden drain and spread out on a tray to go completely cold in a single layer not in a heap. Dinner time turn fryer up to 190 cold chips into basket and fry till nice golden colour tossing occasionally you get lovely crunchy chips every time.double cooking,do this with oysters to Boootiful.
