Reheating cooked chicken in soup: safe?

Me again ;-)So I've used chicken mince to make tiny meatballs that go in a Thai soup (not cream-based, it's stock and other good stuff added).Can I reheat the leftover soup in a microwave or should it be reheated on the stovetop!Not sure about the combo of liquid and meat when reheating. thanks.(I am checking because I get food poisoning at the drop of a hat).

it does not make any difference where you re heat it, as long as its very hot.
