Making chicken pie in advance, when to add gravy?

This afternoon I've roasted a pile of veges to put with roast chicken in a pie. I'm not going to cook the actual pie though till dinner time tonight, if I put the gravy in the pie now and put on the lid will the pastry go soggy! At the moment I'm thinking I may have to just leave the lid off and finish assembling it at tea time

I'm sure if you put it in the fridge when you finish up should be okay, when i made bacon and egg pies at work we would assemble them put them in the chiller overnight next day back came out great. Is the mixture you are using really runny!
