Baby spinach in lasagne

carlos57, May 14, 1:27am
Hi. I have a lot of baby spinach to use up, and thought I would add it to our beef lasagne tonight. Is it all right to just layer the raw baby spinach with the other ingredients! TIA

A bunch of spinach is a really useful vege to have in the fridge. I throw it into lasagne, spag. bol., cottage pie, casseroles, soups, salads etc. it can be added to lots of dishes without overpowering the taste.

I often layer mine with silverbeet which I don't really like very much but you can't taste it and it's a good way of getting greens into kids unknowingly :)
