Bread maker blade

My breadmakers blade is stuck in the tin. It still turns while the thing is in use buts a recipe for disaster. Whats the best thing to get the blade out! Soaking's not been the best so far.

My older sister has this problem, and gets a pr of pliers to pull it off, she protects the blade with a clothe first.
Once it is out you need to get a pin and make sure there is nothing stuck up the hole, causing it to stick.

Mine is permanently "stuck" in the pan since I inherited it from my daughter 2yrs ago but I still make successful bread every day. Just give it a light scrub with the dishbrush to get any residue off and it will be fine.
