Cut the tops off the large tomatoes, thenscoop out the pulp & seeds into a basin, , discard the hardest bit then into the pulp put the following---for about6 big tomatoes---mix together some breadcrumbs,finely chopped onion, i teaspoon of mixed herbs, a few shakes of pepper, about1/2 teaspoon of salt, mix well then put into the tomato shells & put the lid back on & bake in the medium oven until cooked, can't remember exact time, I think it was about1/2 hour, I love these ,for a lunch, also sometimes I have added a beaten egg to the mix. enjoy
