able to cook a tender roll of beef. I cooked mine in an oven bag at 170 C for 1 hour and 1/hours. Meat was okay but certainly not tender. Has anyone got any advice please for oven roasting.

Mine only weighed 1 kg so cooked according to the instructions on the packet but it was not as tender as I expected it to be. Any more ideaspleasefor oven cooking it!

i unroll it and remove any silver skin on the inside at the same time feeling for any end of ribs they are lumpy grisely bits and then i restuff it and roll with satay sticks and cotton string and it comes out so tender . you must keep in mind its the meat that goes over the ribs and you dont wont to eat the bone covering and the silver skin that helps the skin twitch when flys land on it and its tough . then brown and roast on a high heat yummy
