Can I freeze this?

I have made some smoked fish fish cakes but have quite a bit of the mixture left over and was wondering if I could freeze it! Contents are smoked fish, mashed potatoes (mashed with milk and olivani margarine), parsley, boiled eggs and horseradish sauce which seems mayonaise based.
Do they need to be cooked first before freezing them! The cooking part involves flour, egg and oil. Or should I have them tomorrow and forget about freezing them!
Any thoughts and ideas appreciated.

No reason why not, it should freeze as good as gold

Thanks lodgelocum. I wasn't sure seeing they contain milk and mayo. Great news as they were delicious.

If you have 'quite a bit' left over, it might be better to freeze 'free flow'on a tray in say icecream scoop portions (or similar), so that you can just take out as many as you need without having to defrost a whole lump in case of waste and could make each one a 'fishcake' portion.Hope that makes sense!Or come to that, make more fishcakes and freeze freeflow! Just a thought :)
