Freezing limes?

I love my coronas but limes are expensive and at times hard to get. A guy at work is giving me kilo's of them at the moment and I was wondering if i can freeze them!

munkweed, you have choices re freezing the limes (or lemons) - as advised above freeze them whole or freeze the zest and juice separately.or for in drinks, slice the limes/lemons and pop the still frozen slices into the drink of choice.:-))

Corona is a brand of beer from Mexico. You put slices of lime or lemon(I prefer lime) in the bottle. It gives the beer a slight taste each mouthful. Very tasty. I don't think the ice cube would work for me but thank you for the suggestion.

Thanks very much, slicing them then freezing sounds like the go for me.
