Toffee bits?

Does any one know if these are available in chch! Paula from food tv (ya all lol) did a yummy looking cobler and I would looooove to try & make it but I have no idea what 'toffee bits' are lol

Sounds yum. Wonder if you have to make a batch of plain toffee then break up to use. Hopefully someone will tell us.

I was wpndering the same thing but these looked like crumbs or something. Quite biscuity by the looks - hard to tell cause the lady with paula kept smelling them lol

It might have been crushed praline.Look it up on Google and see if it looks the same.

Would be praline. Commercial toffees are too soft to split into crumbs.

You buy them in America and they come in a pack like the Hershey's ones did. I would so love to be able to access or find them here.I have looked into buying them from amazon but haven't gone there yet

What about Werthers Original Toffees! They're quite hard . could they be smashed with a hammer!
