I just saw anitem on TV1 news about the puddings the chefs are serving at Scott Base. There was the most gorgeous pink layer thing called Camel Dung Pudding. Have emailed the chef at Antartica for a recipe, but has anybody else heard of it?

I saw it briefly too :)It might have been invented on the spot by those two cheery chefs. I thought it looked a bit like Cassata... . . maybe it was ice-cream layered with brandied dried fruits and nuts? Pink marshmallows?

I tried to work out what it was in the brief seconds we saw it - thought it looked a bit fluffy like a blancmange or similar, with fruit or chocolate. I wonder if they would come and cook for me on the nights I arrive home from school late and tired!
