125gr butter
125gr sugar
1 egg
225gr flour
1tsp b/powder
1/8tsp salt
Cream butter & sugar, add egg & beat well. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Knead well. Roll out & line patty tins, prick & bake 10 - 15 mins @ 180. When cold add following:
4 Tbsps butter
4 Tbsps i/sugar
4 Tbsps cond milk
2 Dsp lemon juice
Soften butter, add rest of ingredients. Add to mixture. When set ice choc/white

Soften butter, add sifted icing sugar, condensed milk & lemon juice. When set, ice half the top with white icing & half chocolate icing.

"Neenish Slice
150g butter
3/4cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp cocoa
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
25g butter
4 tbsp condensed milk
1 3/4 cups icing sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
100g dark chocolate

Preheat oven to 180C.
Beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add egg and mix well.
Add combined cocoa, flour and baking powder and mix well. Press mixture into a lined 28x18cm slice pan and bake for 20minutes until firm. Allow base to cool.
Melt the 25g butter and mix with condensed milk, icing sugar and lemon juice. Spread over base and refrigerate until set.
Gently melt the chocolate and spread a thin layer over the slice. Mark into squares once chocolate is slightly firm and slice when set.
