Soft plums

Hi there just bought a box of reduced to clear fruit because some of it looked yummy the plums however are very soft, I'm not bother by this as I only paid $3.99 for a box and the other fruit is still good just wanting some ideas of what to do with them they aren't rotten just very soft, I'm not much of a cook or baker so ingredients are limited lol so ideas that aren't gonna be really hard or cost me too much money . Probably best to poach them in their own juices.Sprinkle a layer of sugar in a wide shallow pan, halve the plums and remove stones, place cut side down on the sugar.Cook over moderate heat until the juices run and the sugar dissolves, turn over carefully and simmer very gently for about 5 minutes until just cooked.Serve cool.
