Hi all, whilsthunting through my Mums old cookbooks in the elusive search for her apricot sauce recipe I found her very old Edmonds cookbook and thought it must be in here! Anyrate, the recipe called for 3-4 jars of jam, preferably plum! and there was not sugar in the recipe. Has anyone heard of this before or made it using jam! Think the book was either 50s or 60s version. Cheers all.

Same in my book. Sugar will be in the jam. In brackets mine says Apricot Sauce using old jam instead of sugar.
