Hi, I caught a little of a show on TV1 Sat morning on Lebanese cooking. I saw lemons cut open and filled with salt, then covered in warm water in a jar to be left for a few weeks at room temp. I wonder. was it a lemon sauce ! preserved lemons ! cant find it on google, did anyone else see it or know what it could be ! Thanks.

preserved lemons , use sea salt.
