Green plums

I've got heaps of green plums, they're not as nice to eat as red plums which I also have. I'm going to make jam with the red plus. Any ideas of what I could make with the green plums. Thanks.

I wondered about some type of chutney or sauce. Guess I will have to find a recipe :)

are they green because of being picked before ripe or are they the type of Plum that when ripe is green ie Greengage.
If they are Greengages then they were/are a bottling plum, or stewing/poaching plum.

They are greegage plums which I have never heard of before. Not very nice eating. Thought I may try chutney!

Greengage are the plum of choice for bottled/canned plums. Personally I'm not fussed on them but my mother always had them bottled.
Google and see what it comes up with.
