Ideas for a sweet for book club

i have bookclub at my house next week - need an idea on what I could provide them to eat.Its in the evening after dinner.Any help please!Thank you

If it's after dinner it's unlikely that anyone will be hungry.I would just provide some roasted nuts and maybe some nougat to have with coffee/tea.

One large, splendid cake - uncut - awaiting the knife, with a stack of plates, napkins and cake forks.

That's a good idea.Everyone likes a citrus tart.I think, for after-dinner, one impressive item is better than a lot of little bits and pieces.

Also the ginger and apricot balls are nice with coffee as long as they like ginger.
