Slow cookers

This will be my first one, so I'd like opinions on the best brands.I was thinking a 3.5 L and oval.

I have the old original crockpot from Aussie. Got it in 1983, well before they were available here. I love using it, but it is quite different to the modern ones now. Mine either has a high or low button, a glass lid and that's it. I had looked at the ovalone myself at one stage.

I love em. I just put what evers in the pantry add meat and see how it comes out nothings gone to the dogs yet lol

Not that sure that brand really matters but get the bigger size one in oval I think its 7L as you can cook small quantities in the buig but not big quantities in the small. Ours gets used allot in winter and a reasonable amount in summer.

large oval owner here. It has low, high, auto. as the settings. I often cook a 3 to 4 kg rolled beef in it. A bit of a squash to start with but it works out well in the end. I would not have a smaller one.
